Ruby track rod bush - andrew767767 - 25-07-2021 Hi I need to remove the bronze bushing from the track rod arms. Is it something I can press out or do I need to go to an engineering works to also press new ones in? ![]() RE: Ruby track rod bush - Robert Leigh - 25-07-2021 I think they will come out using a suitable size plain punch. Fitting the new ones can be achieved by squeezing in a vice, after which they need careful reaming to size. RE: Ruby track rod bush - Charles Levien - 25-07-2021 The worn ones can be easily removed by CAREFULLY cutting through the bushes with a junior hacksaw which makes it simple to drift them out.
