Roger RE: Presents - Reckless Rat - 26-12-2017 That's because she was never crowned. Politics got in the way and she fell out of favour after just a week, and shortly afterwards the Duke of Northumberland's head fell off, and hers too some time later. I've had a copy too, looks interesting. But it was beaten as a surprise by the St Christopher suppliers plate for St Peter port garage. I would think they are quite rare as during the occupation of the Channel islands in WW2 the germans ordered a wholesale vehicle confiscation, the only cars left being hidden. It was advertised on Ebay from Germany ! In the German occupation museum here there is the story and photo's of a local who was allowed to collect the waste food for his pigs using his tractor converted chummy. RE: Presents - Charles P - 27-12-2017 Best present was a new pair of insulated overalls. Weather? What weather? Charles RE: Presents - Austin in the Shed - 27-12-2017 forgot to add photo |
