1930's film on car gearbox - Oxford Jack - 18-03-2021 I came across this film from America, which I found very simple to understand, it might be of use to others with, like me, little understanding of the internal mysteries of a gearbox, synchro and ratios. You will have to excuse the pronunciation of a lever, be warned! https://youtu.be/JOLtS4VUcvQ RE: 1930's film on car gearbox - Ivor Hawkins - 18-03-2021 Every day’s a school day. I thought I knew exactly how a gearbox worked, I do now! RE: 1930's film on car gearbox - Dave Mann - 18-03-2021 Nice film however I thought it was lever not laver. RE: 1930's film on car gearbox - Oxford Jack - 18-03-2021 I say lever, you say laver, lets just not get into a lather about it. ![]() RE: 1930's film on car gearbox - Rogerfrench - 18-03-2021 Over ere they mostly say levver, like wot you make boots outer. |
