RE: Sadly, not an Austin 7 in sight.. - Mike Costigan - 27-11-2020 One of the supercharged cars was Hugh Conway's Ulster, OG 9262. Super piece of film , unfortunately too short ! C.A.N May describes the 1934 Colmore in detail from a competitors viewpoint in his 1945 book ' Wheelspin' Had the film been of a trial in Derbyshire 20 years later, Mike and I would have probably been the small boys in school caps. RE: Sadly, not an Austin 7 in sight.. - Mike Costigan - 27-11-2020 Another short film of the same event, including J G Orford's unsupercharged Ulster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNSk0CmEeuA |
