I’m trying to trace some of the history of this car, a Cambridge. So far I know that Frank McDonald in Edinburgh bought the car in bits from someone in the Bristol area (1970s?) and eventually sold them to Ian Darling (Carnwath?) who rebuilt it. This seems to be when it acquired a box saloon radiator rather than the sports radiator it had. I have documentation showing it was in Mallorca between 2007 and 2016 before being brought back to the UK.
It is on the Club register as a Cambridge but I have nothing to corroborate this, I believe Williams’s records are somewhat sketchy so there may not be.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
