Manual windscreen wiper - Jack in the Box - 24-05-2020 I am looking for an original or reproduction manually operated wiper. It’s the sort that fits over the top of say an Ulster screen and has a blade inside as well as outside. I think there were aftermarket wipers, such as the “Bristol”. Does anyone know if repro’s are available or of anyone who would like to sell one? Thanks Alan RE: Manual windscreen wiper - Mike Costigan - 24-05-2020 I'm pretty sure modern repro ones are available; I thought searching for Model T Ford ones would produce results, but they all seem to be like this one: https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/products/ca738h-hand-operated-windscreen-wiper-assembly Perhaps someone with Veteran car connections may be able to come up with something more suitable. RE: Manual windscreen wiper - Jack in the Box - 24-05-2020 Thanks Mike. I found the same one and concluded that it has a rotary action rather than sliding. Let’s see what else is suggested. Alan |
