Fuel pipes - David.H - 23-05-2020 Quick (I hope) question! What is the male thread on the push pull (two sided) Fuel tap outlet on a scuttle tank? I think it is 1/8 BSP....? RE: Fuel pipes - AustinWood - 23-05-2020 I think the thread into the tank is 1/8 BSP and the outlet from the tap 1/4 BSP. Certainly is on my RK. RE: Fuel pipes - Stuart Giles - 24-05-2020 If you have the fuel tap fitted to the later cars (AG Tourer, RN saloon etc.) it has a 1/4" BSP thread. RE: Fuel pipes - David.H - 25-05-2020 Thanks to all. It is 1/8 BSP. I made up a copper down pipe to which I fitted the filter and then a flex Clear pipe to the fuel pump. The scuttle tank feeds the crankcase pump which lifts the fuel to the 30VI Nippy carb & manifold.. D |
