Special bodies - Duncan Grimmond - 02-05-2020 Anyone looking for styling tips for a special body.... https://asheville.craigslist.org/cto/d/blowing-rock-replica-1913-fiat-roadster/7115478902.html Wish I'd seen it before I started RE: Special bodies - Paul N-M - 02-05-2020 Ah, the dust bin school of design! RE: Special bodies - Howard Wright - 02-05-2020 Hi Duncan Only it’s mother could love it. But to be fair, it’s almost as ugly as the original! Cheers Howard RE: Special bodies - Steve kay - 02-05-2020 Quick, before the bailiffs move in, get Coys to offer it for sale. I'd dearly love to read their catalogue description. Perhaps "richly patinated" would appear at an early stage. Maybe there is a separate genre, along with "Scandi Noir" and "Bodice Ripper" there is a certain sort of auctioneers catalogue fiction: "Rich Patination." RE: Special bodies - Mike Costigan - 02-05-2020 The link doesn't work for me; I assume this is a less than perfect special? RE: Special bodies - Hugh Barnes - 02-05-2020 This might help Mike. But, be warned, once you have seen it, you can't 'unsee' it... RE: Special bodies - Mike Costigan - 02-05-2020 I wish you hadn't done that Hugh RE: Special bodies - Bruce Young - 03-05-2020 Ten minutes work ripping the "body" off and the rest may be worth a lot more! |
