TSY 410 - Renaud - 28-04-2020 Hi, TSY 410 to sell here: https://www.prewarcar.com/301742-austin-7-ulster I didn't find it on the forum. Is it known here? DVLA says: Vehicle Details Vehicle make AUSTIN Date of first registration August 1996 Year of manufacture 1930 Cylinder capacity 750 cc CO₂ emissions Not available Fuel type PETROL Euro status Not available Real Driving Emissions (RDE) Not available Export marker No Vehicle status Taxed Vehicle colour BLUE Vehicle type approval Not available Wheelplan 2 AXLE RIGID BODY Revenue weight Not available Date of last V5C (logbook) issued 5 February 2020 Color wrong at least! Looks good to me. Price not in my league. RE: TSY 410 - Ivor Hawkins - 28-04-2020 Nice looking car Renaud but that bonnet fit could be better! RE: TSY 410 - JonE - 28-04-2020 pity it's only JUST missed out on a two letter age-related plate. RE: TSY 410 - Steve Jones - 28-04-2020 A good car that ran well when it last competed. Spec might have moved on, slightly, but that's somewhat academic. I'll be rather encouraged if it makes the asking price . Steve RE: TSY 410 - Charles P - 28-04-2020 If my memory is still working correctly it was built by Andy McKernan with significant input from the much missed Nick Wenley, who at the time worked for Arthur Archer and was an excellent and skilled engineer. I can't remember exactly when but I thought that it was before 2006. Malcolm bought it and competed, successfully as Steve has said. I seem to recall it had a road accident after that, which was probably when it stopped being Cambridge blue. Charles Edit to add Just checked. Malcolm was competing in it in 2002 so it predates 2006 RE: TSY 410 - Terry McGrath - 29-04-2020 I have a photo I took of it in the paddock at Angouleme with Stirling Moss studying it. I was Malcolm McCoy's mechanic. He won his "race" against much bigger opposition, with his front number plate dragging on the track. RE: TSY 410 - Zorro - 09-10-2020 Hi terry I have bought this vehicle and would be really interested in seeing this photo as part of the vehicles history of you wouldn’t mind sharing?
