Old advertisement - Derek Sheldon - 04-03-2020     looking through some very old books and found this ad. A bit political, but interesting RE: Old advertisement - Dave Mann - 05-03-2020 Many years I read a book about the Berlin airlift where almost anything that would fly was pressed into service, when an aircraft came up for service it was sent to Burtonwood. I forget the figures but the number of spark plugs used was mind blowing. They experienced all sorts of difficulties with air frames contaminated with salt and coal.
