Ruby on it's wheels again. - andrew34ruby - 17-01-2020 After thirty years on axle stands my Ruby is now on the ground, on it's wheels again. Everything works now, it just needs a bonnet and doors finishing, and seats might be useful. Tempting to drive it! RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Greig Smith - 17-01-2020 Steady on there Andrew, you don't want to rush it in the last 10 years... Seriously that's a very pretty little Ruby, keep chipping away at something every day and it'll be finished in time to take Beloved for tea on Valentine's day Aye Greig RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Duncan Grimmond - 19-01-2020 Looking good Andrew, put a box in it and have a run up and down the drive for further inspiration! RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Chris KC - 19-01-2020 Looking good Andrew! RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Andy Bennett - 27-01-2021 Looking great Andrew. Do you have a 'before' picture? Andy RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Tiger - 27-01-2021 Andrew Would you be kind enough to give the measurements of the steel sunroof panel. This is the sliding part. Regards Tim RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Dave Mann - 27-01-2021 Looks good, at least Andrew has been making good use of lockdown. RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Nick Turley - 27-01-2021 Well done Andrew. Thanks for sharing. Now comes the best bit - using it !!!!!!! Looking very nice, well done. Keep going. RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - Ivor Hawkins - 27-01-2021 Great stuff Andrew, I love the delicate lines of the Mk1 Ruby and it’s nice to see a plain black one, which will match my Box saloon, which is just a few months older than your car. Go on, take it for a run up the drive! RE: Ruby on it's wheels again. - andrew34ruby - 27-01-2021 It's been on the road since last March and I've driven it about 500 miles now. Here are a couple of photos from about 1985. The kids are in their forties now. Same wife, same house, same garage. inside.jpg (Size: 207.88 KB / Downloads: 521) |
