Fuel pump - Derek Sheldon - 09-11-2019 Was the fuel pump standard through all models with pumps ? T-Type RE: Fuel pump - "Slack Alice" Simon - 09-11-2019 No, before the "T" type there was, for a short time, the "M" type. It is smaller - having 5 screws holding it together - the T type has 6, which means the diaphragms are different. The mechanism of the operating arm working the diaphragm is different, so you can't swap bits around. It has no priming lever, which is a nuisance. It has the inlet and outlet in different positions, which make it a bit more awkward if you swap to a T type. The bit of the union which goes into the pump body is smaller on the M type. As you may be able to tell, I have been messing about with fuel pumps ....... Simon RE: Fuel pump - Derek Sheldon - 09-11-2019 OThanks Simon |
