Zenith Fuel level - leaf200 - 16-10-2019 Hi, I am in need of altering the fuel level on my zenith carb as it was leaking fuel when on a hill (not good for trailing). Does any one have any tips and what should the level be Thanks RE: Zenith Fuel level - Howard Wright - 16-10-2019 Hi Might help if we knew which model of Zenith? On a 22FZ it should be 3mm below the jet level. Yes all Zenith carb measurements seem to be metric!). Not a straightforward task to accomplish and definitely one with the carb off the car. Cheers Howard RE: Zenith Fuel level - leaf200 - 16-10-2019 He Hi sorry yes it’s a 22fz. How is best to measure the level. RE: Zenith Fuel level - Howard Wright - 16-10-2019 Hi Again If you put “updraft carb float level” in the little Search box above all will be revealed. I may have misled you in the last post the fluid level should be 1mm below the main jet. Cheers Howard RE: Zenith Fuel level - Ian McGowan - 16-10-2019 This should show you how to do it. RE: Zenith Fuel level - leaf200 - 17-10-2019 Thanks for all the useful reply's. I will give it a go |
