Condenser and points for 12 volt - PDavies - 05-10-2019 I've just started getting a problem with my electronic distributer.....haven't had time to take it out and have a good look but a quick road side visual indicated that the rotor position could move back and forth between adv and retd without any spring tension. The car is 12 volt, can I fit the standard distributer with the points and condenser that would normally be used with 6 voltĀ ? or do I need to change anything ? Thanks RE: Condenser and points for 12 volt - Stuart Giles - 05-10-2019 The points distributor will work fine on 12V without any mods. RE: Condenser and points for 12 volt - PDavies - 05-10-2019 Thanks StuartĀ I will dig out the old distributer and give it a go RE: Condenser and points for 12 volt - Reckless Rat - 05-10-2019 Check the state of the drive gears when you take off the electronic one. |
