Hand brake ?? - Tiger - 20-09-2019 Now starting to move my A7 Ruby. When selecting reverse after applying the brakeĀ Is it normal not to be able to release the brake. Just thought I would ask. My previous post refers to the handbrake RE: Hand brake ?? - bob46320 - 21-09-2019 Its not normal behaviour. RE: Hand brake ?? - Tony Press - 21-09-2019 As above no- but do you mean the gear lever is in the way of the handbrake lever or something else ? RE: Hand brake ?? - Ruairidh Dunford - 21-09-2019 This is a common issue if the gear stick has a lot of play in it - bringing it up and over, into reverse, can trap the handbrake and cause the problem you mention. RE: Hand brake ?? - Tiger - 21-09-2019 Thanks Ruairdh This is exactly the situation Not a lot of play in either gear lever or handbrake. A bit of a puzzle |
