Rali Gwasgaor Gwymraeg/Welsh Scatter Rally - Steve kay - 30-08-2019 The VSCC's Welsh Weekend fast approacheth. Forumistes who have regular bookings with their local sports injury clinic and are used to rebuilding their cars will have already entered the Trial. For those who prefer the intellectual challenges of navigation to much bruised lower parts, Rali Gwasgarog, the Scatter Rally, offers a day combing Radnorshire and adjacent environs for clues. The Championship Class is open to Seven owners hoping to sweep drivers of lesser machinery from VSCC prize givings in due course, the Clubmans Class is open to anyone with a pre-1941 car, with or without a buff form. A Big Seven or a Ten would be most welcome. For those wanting to enjoy a less competitive day, full navigational instructions will be given out to those participating in the Tour. Rally recceing has employed that fearless sporting beast, a Ruby. No hints will be dropped as to where you might have to go, but I can assure all that no Clue Points require competitors to ascend, or more alarmingly, descend a double chevron. Andrew Tarring is at his desk at TOPO awaiting your entries. |
