Ruby oil pressure gauge - Parazine - 01-07-2019 Does anyone know what the thread is on the input connection to a 10lb early Ruby oil pressure gauge?? I measure 3/8 by 26tpi, so 3/8 BSB possibly? I'm trying to plumb in an oil gauge for my RK saloon, I don't trust oil buttons ever since one exploded in my face about twenty years ago! Actually, it was nearer thirty years ago ![]() TR RE: Ruby oil pressure gauge - Tod - 01-07-2019 Hi There, I have measured a 0-10 psi gauge I have on the bench. The one here measures 28 tpi making it 1/8 BSP. I confirmed this by running a new 1/8 BSP nut down the thread. Tod RE: Ruby oil pressure gauge - Parazine - 01-07-2019 Hi Tod, Thanks, yes agreed, 1/8 BSP it is! I should explain that I had a bag with 1/8 BSP hardware in it. Except a 1/4 BSP nut had found its way in there ![]() |
