Anybody able to put me in touch with the present owner of FV1399 please?
Last owner I know of was Edmund Glasson down in the South West (of England, I should say!) but I understand they parted company a while ago.

I don't know if this helps at all, but FV1399 would appear to have been advertised for sale a couple of years ago. This ad was placed on May 27th 2017.

Thanks Ian, I might try the "e-mail seller" button but I'll hold on and see if anyone here knows the car first.
I note it was listed for sale as LHD!

Just to give some closure - we set up our tent at Beaulieu on Friday evening and, concerned that Banu might quickly reach her boredom threshold, I set her a little challenge to see if she could spot FV1399 among the cars arriving over the weekend. The challenge lasted all of 5 seconds as FV1399 was standing on a trailer 10 yards to our left... FV1399 belonged to my father when he died in '94 and it seems is still known as 'Poppy'. I very much enjoyed catching up with her lovely new owners Dave & Christine.
