Ignition vs. Throttle levers - Erich - 10-06-2019 Hi All, I have just removed my steering wheel on my Ulster Rep. Of course, it required removing the lower steering box control levers. Looking at the are parts list on page 42, I see that the shorter lever, BM 143 is for the ignition and BM 59 is for the throttle. 59 appears longer and 143 appears shorter. As I removed them, they were opposite, the longer being for the ignition and the shorter for the throttle. Am I missing something here? Erich in Seattle RE: Ignition vs. Throttle levers - Ian Williams - 10-06-2019 Unfortunately it seems pretty much in line with everything else you have reported about the car Erich, but it is a special so perhaps the builder had something in mind we fail to understand. RE: Ignition vs. Throttle levers - Howard Wright - 10-06-2019 Hi Erich Definitely the wrong way round UNLESS you want to advance the ignition by 90 degrees! . Howard |
