Zenith 26VA float level - John Mason - 31-05-2019 'I have been having problems with my carburettor on my 1935 Ruby and I believe it to be connected to the fuel level in the float chamber as this problem started after I Had renewed the needle valve and washer. Is there an easy way to get the fuel level correct or is it just a matter of trying different thickness washers under the valve until things are correct. John Mason RE: Zenith 26VA float level - Nick Salmon - 01-06-2019 This may help John. http://www.austinsevenfriends.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=2760&pid=28599&highlight=26va#pid28599 RE: Zenith 26VA float level - John Mason - 01-06-2019 thanks Nick, Very helpful I will have go with the carb in the next few days. John Mason RE: Zenith 26VA float level - John Mason - 03-06-2019 Just an update. I have changed the washer on the needle valve and whilst the carb was off the engine took the opertunity to clean all the jets etc with carb cleaner.
