Smiths Speedometer Repairs - Chris.Dallas - 30-05-2019

Morning All,

I am trying to locate the contact details for a gentleman who lived around the Birmingham Area who worked on Smiths Speedos. I have no real excuse at my age but have forgotten his name and address ( used him about 8-10 years ago).

I am sure I originally got the details from the Association red book but do not have one to hand currently.

Anyone have any ideas? The Gent was retired and did the work from his bungalow.....

Thanks

Chris

I believe the contents of the Red Book are now online - hopefully you may find him listed here:

Thanks Jeff,

Sadly cannot see his details. Possibly he has retired from his 'retirement job' or worse....

Regards

Chris

Might it have been Bob Chester Lamb? He used to have a business in Birmingham called Bearwood Models.

Not exactly Birmingham but this name came up when I asked for recommendations a couple of years ago:

CHRIS CLARK
Address: The Hermitage, 1, Pump Yard, Turnditch, Derby DE26 2LH
Phone: 01773 550485

I didn't use him myself so can't comment further.

Peter.

Thank you all for your responses and I agree Chris Clark is good and assisted me several times in the past.

As it happens I was incorrect, not Birmingham but Redditch.

I found the contact  Mr R Taylor... who only worked on PA Speedometers, however I found his details in a list from 2001...….. so who knows!
