Hi all,
For those interested in all things austin.
Managed to by this at the weekend.
Never seen one before.
So impressed with it, it will probably remain in the house. Instead of going into the museum?
Always loved Austins advertising of "DEPENDABLE AUSTIN" slightly changed here to "AUSTIN you can depend on it"

What a fantastic find, well done! Smiths 'Sectric' electric movement, judging by the style of the hands.

Hi IAN,
I'll say you are correct.
I have a large KLG clock with smiths sectric on reverse of the movement.
This one just has SEC on the reverse. Amongst the patents etc.
I also picked this stunner up at the same time, which WILLÂ go into the museum.
