Can anyone identify this Zenith labelled 22VS01945, and what it may been used on? Is it perhaps the type used on early Dixis? The carb is in good condition and may be for sale.

Is this one of the 'hen's teeth' bottom entry 22mm Zenith carburettors used on very early Sevens? I recall Barry Clarke putting much effort into trying to find one two or three years ago. I'm not sure he ever did.

I don’t think it is the type you describe Steve, I have one and the float bowl is mirror image to Robert’s.
It would certainly fit a Dixi engine...

The " hen's teeth" carburettor Steve is referring to is a 22F.
