austin seven badge, stamped J Fryer on reverse - beermonty - 01-02-2019 I have this old Austin seven badge which is in good condition with the name J Fryer stamped on the reverse, can anyone tell me if it has any value or should I just donate it to a charity shop. Thank you RE: austin seven badge, stamped J Fryer on reverse - Peter Johnson - 01-02-2019 You can get the Austin and the seven scripts as a set for £20 or so on eBay if that helps inform the decision. I think that your badge is from the boot lid of an early Austin Mini c1959/60. You could try it on eBay and see how it goes. RE: austin seven badge, stamped J Fryer on reverse - mk1-mark - 01-02-2019 It is as has already been said a badge from a 1959 - 61 Austin Mini Seven, not a pre war Aystin Seven, it is not in bad nick & will probably be worth between 10 & 15 to the right person. Repros are available but are a rotten fit. BTW. Its "J Fray" . http://blackcountryhistory.org/collections/getrecord/GB145_p_270/ They made millions of badges for BMC. |
