Is it the same for mk1 and mk2 Ruby Pictures would be great Regards Tim RE: Exhaust route - FrogPond - 11-01-2019 (10-01-2019, 08:40 PM)Tiger Wrote: Hello peopleTim, from the front: and back: . Sorry, I didn't take one of the axle area. That's my Mk I Ruby. Through the crossmember, anyhow. Mike Edit: Zoom in on the picture from the front. Looks like it went over the axle. RE: Exhaust route - Tiger - 11-01-2019 Thanks Mike Just what I wanted. The forum always works ! I have just been watching Star Wars. This probably sounds daft. BUT “LET THE FORUM BE WITH YOU” Sorry I am just a bit of a nutter Regards Tim RE: Exhaust route - Ruairidh Dunford - 11-01-2019 Left hand drive? With two front brake ropes, very interesting. RE: Exhaust route - Mike Costigan - 11-01-2019 Well spotted, Ruairidh! From the second photo it looks like it's got a pre-1930 uncoupled handbrake assembly. RE: Exhaust route - Ruairidh Dunford - 11-01-2019 That is correct for LHD - wonderfully antiquated isn’t it? RE: Exhaust route - Steve kay - 11-01-2019 I've gone to the workshop to peer under my Ruby, the exhaust arrangement is the same. The difference, that is too gloomy to photograph just now, is that the underside of mine shows absolutely no signs of corrosion at all. It does however clearly display the reason for minimal rust, that is the long term marinading in engine oil. RE: Exhaust route - spannerman - 11-01-2019 Oil leaks can be a good thing sometimes ? |
