Hi people
Should there be a oil thrower fitted on the camshaft drive gear?
A7 3 bearing Ruby.

The old John Platt catalogue (available in reprint) is very helpful for this kind of question.

I dont have copies of most books, but from the Light Car June 11 1937 an excellent cross section of an engine albeit 3 bearing appears in the Brooklands book, Austin Seven in the Thirties. Details such as the slingers can be identified. Someone may be able to scan and print large.
