David Gregson information - Polar Roller - 16-10-2018 Can anyone put me in touch with David Gregson, or know if he is still about or anything about him or the cars he built? I have one of them in my barn (California) which I would Like to know more about. It is an open two seater dark blue in color. There is another monoposto, I believe in Germany, that shares many similarities. The grille shells for instance are almost identical. RE: David Gregson information - Jeff Taylor - 17-10-2018 Your car features on both the DVLA Database and the Austin 7 Clubs Association Chassis Register. The DVLA database suggests it left the UK sometime in 2003 as prior to the November of that year the car was obviously UK road taxed - the road tax wasn't renewed on the 17th November 2003 nor was the vehicle SORN'd. The A7CA shows that your car is based (the Donor Car) on an August 1935 Austin 7 ARQ Ruby Saloon and that the last UK owner was a member of the 750 Motor Club. The Ruby Saloon on which it's based was first registered JW 7767 in Wolverhampton (near Birmingham) in 1935.
