1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Jeff Taylor - 27-09-2018 This has just been posted in the Parts for Sale section of the 'Morris Minor Owners Club Forum' - I doubt if they'll get much attention there and the vendor says they'll go for scrap if no one shows an interest very soon, which would be a shame. They're apparently located in North Devon. I've absolutely no connection whatsoever to the vendor or the engines, I'm merely passing on the information should anyone be interested in taking it forward. https://www.mmoc.org.uk/MessageBoard/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=69213&view=unread#unread https://www.mmoc.org.uk/MessageBoard/viewforum.php?f=8 Screen Shot 2018-09-27 at 14.25.13.png (Size: 47.27 KB / Downloads: 278) RE: 1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Dennis Nicholas - 27-09-2018 If anyone wants them I could pick them up and store them till collected or arrangements can be made for them to be further forwarded. I am in N W Devon. Somewhere I have some brand new (old stock) A 10 springs as well. In the R Scimitar world we often get bits moved around the country by people going from A to B and passing the bits on till eventually they get to their destination. Dennis RE: 1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Jeff Taylor - 27-09-2018 That's a very generous offer Dennis, I hope someone takes it up and saves the engines from scrap - when I saw they were located in North Devon, I immediately thought of you, knowing North Devon is your neck of the woods. Jeff. RE: 1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Steve Bryant - 28-09-2018 Check to see if anyone in the Austin "Tilly" group would have need of them. Tilly's were Austin Ten based. http://austin.tillyregister.com/index.html I can bear the thought of them going for scrap. Stephen RE: 1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Derek Sheldon - 28-09-2018 Without loving on to a Morris site how can I contact the vendor ? RE: 1936 Austin 10 engines anyone ? - Jeff Taylor - 28-09-2018 Derek, The vendor Chris has just posted his telephone number - 01398 323063 Note Dennis' generous offer above to pick up and store in N W Devon.
