fitting a new loom - Mixer - 04-04-2018

Hi all,
Any tips or guidance for fitting a new complete wiring harness on a MK11 Ruby,I have purchased
a harness from Jamie /North Walsham and now need to access an easy-ish wiring diagram.I have done partial re-wires on FX4 cabs in the past but they were diesels, the only ones I can find are based on the
early A7 owners book.Cheers. Huh

When you get the loom put a label on each wire , to match
The terminations on your wiring diagram.

Find photos of under bonnet layouts of original cars in books
Or from the Internet.

Source the clips and screws needed to attach the loom to the body.

Try to minimise long slack bits of cabling and use
Termination blocks if you need to add sub looms, eg to sidelamps etc.
If you are going to add cabling eg for flashers etc plan for this at the
Beginning and make sure you have access to good earthing points.

Loomfitting is my favourite job on a car restoration!

Kind regards

Bill G
