You have to remember this modification is really for cars with a flat or near flat front spring. In this case, the effect of camber on spring length is minimal.

Alan, Thanks for your comment. Simples, if your front spring has a camber then it is the rubber fillers at each end of the spring that is needed to prevent sideways movement of axle beam!

I don't see any mention of twisting the radius arm ends, only a tapered packer at the spring mount which I would think wouldn't do much without setting the arms ?

Has anyone got pictures/experience of both shock arms being fixed to the axle as shown above?
I've always though that would 'fix' the axle/suspension movement too much.

Robert packing is 8mm you need to bolt everything together after fitting the spring wedge (6 degree is usually enough) and check drop it may come below cross member in which case you may need an 8mm drop plate setups are all different depending on chassis. Terry.

Oil changes, greasing and this important one - the tightening of the halfshaft nuts.
A couple of lengths of old angle welded to a knackered brake drum makes a useful tool to hold the hub.
