This is how it looks (sorry for the dim picture, the flash wouldn't fire!) with the lever now visible towards the front of the car at about 45 degrees. Check back on the earlier photo to compare. Is any preloading/tension required on the cable so as to pull the levers back a little? Thanks.

The Lever should be just on vertical when the shoes hit the brake drum  Smile
