RE: 60’000 miles on cheap supermarket oil... - AustinWood - 29-04-2020 I think the Phoenix oil troughs are an improvement over the original. The way they are machined will hold the oil rather than it being flung out by centrifugal force. The troughs are closer to the centre line and the drilling to the big end goes straight through at an angle rather than having 90 degree bends. It is essential to angle the jets correctly.
