Throughout my ownership of an Austin 7, I have always "promoted the brand" by ensuring that those who stop to gaze & smile as I drive by get a cheery toot of the horn, a smile & an acknowledging wave. When parked, those showing interest are met with an offer to take a closer look and are given a brief chat about its history but also (more pertinent I feel) I make sure that they know about the support that is available through the PWA7C and local clubs, and the availability of spares. Most importantly, I make sure they know how much joy owning 7 driving my Austin 7 has given me.
