Hi Julian,
Re the Circular Laystall crank, I note your comments re it being heavy and making for slow gear changes, 
Did it the engine run any smoother with this crank? I have one in good crack free condition and contemplating using it if there is in any benefit to smoothness. Otherwise it’s just sat on the shelf doing nothing.
