Not a pleasant experience, slow and with the high C of G and narrow track, it felt unstable. You wouldn't want to sling it around like you could a Seven.Very interesting; I thought that the Quadrilette had an "unstable" look about it. I certainly would not want to attempt a VSCC-style wiggle-woggle reverse in one. Only around 100 examples were made in 1924... A fine-looking vehicle, shame about that 65kph top speed - it wouldn't have given the contemporary Amilcar a run for its money! 1924 Peugeot 172 GS.jpg (Size: 42.02 KB / Downloads: 130) RE: Peugeot Quadrilette - Duncan Grimmond - 20-05-2020 I was fortunate to grow up bilingual (Dutch& English) to the age of five. I think it is responsible for my interest and facility in other languages. I took to Latin and French like a duck to water though my Latin is all but forgotten. Italian came easily but the one thing that is essential is practice which is more difficult to find. I need more foreign holidays, now! |
