As I will be fitting new tyres in the next few weeks I have followed this thread with interest, especially the problem of stiff new covers needing to be warmed before fitting, when a brainwave (heatwave?) hit me when I opened the doors of the modern this morning - surely the perfect place to warm your new tyres, and its free heat to boot.  Just a thought.
