That is correct Tony, Crib in the South Island. Many were amateur built and about the size of single mens accommodation in works camps etc hence bach from bachelor. Now full expensive homes on expensive sections.

Interesting - a Crib was a packed sandwich lunch when I worked at Rum Jungle Uranium Mine in the Northern Territory back in the 60's.

"Now full expensive homes on expensive sections."

Or as we call them:

"Now full expensive homes on expensive Lots."

Ivor, if you want higher-resolution images, email me at tony@lathes.co.uk I'll send you the original cleaned-up versions - although clicking on the ones already displayed should produce ones around 2 to 3 MB each that make pretty good A3 prints. I do have a major email overload so, if no reply within 48 hours, phone me on 01298-872874

Thanks Tony, I think 2-3 meg will be fine, I want be going larger than A3.
