I too enjoy period photos. A lovely insight into social history.

Some years ago I posted a photo on my website of a batch of scale model Bantam Station Wagons. A year or two later a friend in the States told me the photo had appeared in a book about defunct manufacturers - now in black and white with added scratches and faded edges it claimed to be the only known photo of Bantam Wagons in the factory. The author was (apparently) a very highly regarded motoring historian. I was flattered and appalled in equal measure!
