RE: Steering wheel covering - Ian Williams - 03-04-2020 Has anyone covered a wheel with Cellulose acetate sheet it is currently available and used in the manufacture of Accordions, clarinets and other musical instruments. It is softened in a solution of acetone and water which makes it almost rubber like, it is then applied to the instrument, I have been intending to experiment for ages but there is always something else on my bench!! RE: Steering wheel covering - Tony Press - 04-04-2020 Back 40 years ago one of Mobil's customers was the Melbourne branch of BX Plastics- from memory they were injection moulders- took me quite a while to find out where BX came from No Xylonite on view ! |
