Washed in water?
Is that de-ionised water, water collected in rain barrel from gutters, tap water with all the chemicals to be found in it (different depending on area you live in.....highly chlorinated etc?),  my well water is slightly acidic and also contains other chemicals from the ground (and once some bits of shredded frog that had somehow got past the end-of-hose-in-well-rough filter and reached the pump impeller Sick.  Next door vilage has rather chlorinated water that gets boiled off for the tea/coffee after we have brought it home for drinking.

Ps relatives bring their own water bottles if they are staying and going to wash their hair, after one had their hair go green --well water + soap = green.   There's a thought,  green car with colour co-ordinated plated parts.
