Will a 1” SU need fed via a fuel pump( SU?)
On my GE Cup which has a scuttle tank normally feeding via gravity?

Or just keep a good head of petrol in the tank?

From my experience either will work but the SU pump is more reliable and allows the tank head to not be a cause of fuel starvation.
