My C15 van was first registered on 28th December 1995. I suspect the salesman offering a discount to get it sold off before the end of the month in order to get his bonus. Who knows.

My special (presumably originally a Ruby), was first registered on Christmas Eve 1937. It makes me feel that it would have been bought because it was wanted, not because it was needed. Makes my special even more special.

If there’s any more last minute present buying I’m selling my Paxton special. I seem to be using my Opal more these days and hate to think of a nice car languishing for want of use.
It’s a hard decision for me to make but I hope it may continue to provide a lot of fun for someone who will use for what it was designed for — fast road car, hill climbs etc.
I’ve come back onto the forum after quite an absence and with an avatar at the top which I hope will appear when I post this!
