Christmas Eve and you realise you haven't got anything for your wife. It's a quick dash to the local garage, we've all done it! RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Reckless Rat - 03-01-2025 My C15 van was first registered on 28th December 1995. I suspect the salesman offering a discount to get it sold off before the end of the month in order to get his bonus. Who knows. Yes, I did some work on it last year for the owner! RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Colin Cooke - 04-01-2025 My special (presumably originally a Ruby), was first registered on Christmas Eve 1937. It makes me feel that it would have been bought because it was wanted, not because it was needed. Makes my special even more special. RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Chris KC - 04-01-2025 It takes a certain strength of character to go out in late December and buy an unheated soft-top... RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Alan - 04-01-2025 My RL is a December 1930 car. I don’t know any of its early history but it would be nice if it was someone’s Christmas present. RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Howard Wright - 04-01-2025 My van was originally a tourer registered in January….Possibly in the Sales! Howard RE: Friends' Gallery Picture of the Month - January 2025 - Charles Levien - 06-01-2025 If there’s any more last minute present buying I’m selling my Paxton special. I seem to be using my Opal more these days and hate to think of a nice car languishing for want of use. It’s a hard decision for me to make but I hope it may continue to provide a lot of fun for someone who will use for what it was designed for — fast road car, hill climbs etc. I’ve come back onto the forum after quite an absence and with an avatar at the top which I hope will appear when I post this! Happy New Year to all. It’s a great answer to anyone who wants to see what it looks like. Charles |
