For those who have been otherwise occupied, three images on the ever wonderful Austin Harris archive, photos red 9198-9200.

Nice, but I couldn't cope with those boot hinges.

Not silly money and not a bad looking thing, however agree with the comment about the boot hinges... they look hideous !

Catalogue states “The large space in the tail of the car, reached by hinging forward the seat squab provides ample luggage carrying capacity…..”

The LAT photos do not show the boot or hinges.

Somthing has been changed me thinks!

So, a nice special in the style of a Hawk.

Wow you guys are harsh.  Tongue 'I had to kick Cindy Crawford out of bed because she had braces,'  Big Grin

I'd have it in my garage in a heartbeat - also Cindy Crawford.  Big Grin

:-) totally agree still a very nice car and spot on the money, anyway how hard can it be to change some hinges :-)

RE: Austin 7 Hawk - Alan - 18-10-2024

Actually harder than you might think, due to the curved split line. Still, I’d give it room in my garage if there was any left.

I suspect adding any more cars and any more women to my life would cause an exponential increase in stress... so I'll pass on both

I didn't mean to be harsh, but the devil is in the detail and sometimes something that stands out so strongly is an indication of other things that may be less obvious.

For the record, I don't like marmite either!
