Like Alan, I jump into the Austin Seven, the Alfa or the Velocette at the drop of a hat to do the shopping, collect parts or off for a spot of touring, outside of busy hours and the school holidays to enjoy relatively quiet B roads, so any potential restriction to use should be nipped in the bud pdq. Ivor My wife's modern car did 3,300 miles last year at tax of £330.
