I know in the old days before digital cameras (with endless photos at little or no cost.) There would not have been so many photos taken. Even with a 35mm with 36 exposures the cost would have needed a second mortgage.

Ah, the crepuscule approaches as pilot Griffiths continues with his solo 24 hour run. The stewards were a bit puzzled by some laps every couple of hours or so being so long. The sporting supporting Seven owners in the pits explained, he has to stop round the back of the track to inspect a field gate.
