This car looks to have last been restored in the era of the 'brass brigade' - when cars were presented with brass rather than nickel radiators? - perhaps as a fashion left over from earlier 'brass' cars? 

I had a 1930 saloon like this once - it had previously been restored in the early '70s - and had similar brass radiator.  However, this is now all in the past? - until a survivor like this turns up?

Hi Colin

Hardly restored.  I think it was ‘kept on the road’.  The rear axle is wrong (it should be a screw in torque tube), the dynamo and dizzy are later ones, the steering column is from a post 31 car and the wing welding (restoration?).

That said most of the rest is, I think, original and the car is a good basis for restoration.
