My assumption would be that David means they will be "special" parts that were only on the "works" cars, IE GW 82, Grass Hoppers etc.

What parts are they? (And pictures would be ace.)

I wonder if anyone has an idea what this head came off. Number reads 9B 1175 or 8

What does the combustion chamber shape look like?

RE: Origins of a 9E1-AF cylinder head - Lowespeed - 05-09-2023

The head is thicker than standard heads and need longer studs to fit. Interesting swirl patterns formed in the carbon; used of blown engine.

Thanks Andy,
have you measured the combustion chamber volume?
  Best wishes, Robert.

RE: Origins of a 9E1-AF cylinder head - Lowespeed - 07-09-2023

The combustion chambers averaged out at 40.8cc; giving a combustion ratio of around 5.6.

I’m wondering if it’s a Gordon England creation, but not sure how that squares with the B part number
