RE: Dizzy screw - Reckless Rat - 17-04-2023 Don't ask me, I'm French. Je ne sais rien sur les filetages de vis et de boulons, même pas deux fois. Une vis de reglage a un filetage sur toute de sa longuer, Un boulon a un filetage seulement a l'extremite inferieure. (PS. My keyboard doesn't do accents, a grave shortcoming of which I am acutely aware ) RE: Dizzy screw - Tony Press - 17-04-2023 A set screw with a little bit of thin tube? RE: Dizzy screw - Spex - 18-04-2023 A complexely thread is used on the Cemetary Mixer for sale on Farcebook RE: Dizzy screw - David Cochrane - 18-04-2023 The stepped bolt on my car keeps unscrewing itself, but luckily the bottom of the distributor body stops it coming up so far that it falls out. If I try to tighten it up then the distributor adjustment locks up. Should there be a washer or spring under the head of the bolt? RE: Dizzy screw - Chris Garner - 18-04-2023 David, I have both and it works for me. RE: Dizzy screw - Howard Wright - 18-04-2023 Hi David I think there should be a spring under the head. Cheers Howard RE: Dizzy screw - David Cochrane - 18-04-2023 Thanks - I'll have another look at it tomorrow. |
