RE: Indictors - John Mason - 17-10-2022 I added flashing indicators to my car some years ago (before LEDs) I used two flashier units one for each side operated by two solenoids driven from the indicator live feeds. The flashers were driven from a direct live fused feed from the battery switched on by the solenoid. I also had a switch and a further solenoid which connected them together to make interesting but unlawful hazard lights as they flashed not together but side to side. No drilling of the body to fix them I made light metal brackets that bolted t the bumper irons. If I was going to do the job now I would use flashing LEDs. John Mason.
