RE: speedometer speed - David Stepney - 20-03-2022

Ivor, my car also has a Magmo speedometer which is seriously pessemistic. At an indicated 25mph, the car is doing almost 30 and the discrepancy between indicated speed and actual speed gets worse the faster the car goes. Any more that 35mph and I start to get those flashing '40' warning signs and an indicated 40mph is a true speed of 48!

Ooh, I wonder if my car is faster than I think David!

One gets a fair idea of how fast one is going by the number of Audis, BMWs and Rangerovers that simply must overtake you, preferably of double white lines!
